우리 협회에 대하여

블록체인 기술은 암호화폐(Cryptocurrency), 공공•보안(Public & Security), 산업응용(Industrial Applications), 거래•결제(Transaction & Payments) 등으로 활용범위가 산업 전반 및 지식재산으로 확대되고 있으며, 가상화폐를 넘어 AI. 양자 등과 융합을 통해 새로운 생태계가 형성될 것으로 전망됩니다.
또한 블록체인 기술은 향후 요소 기술 및 융합기술의 형태로 다양한 분야에 활용될 것으로 예상되므로 연구개발, 법제도 개선, 인프라 구축, 인력양성 등의 정책을 블록체인 활용 생태계와 연계하여 추진되어야 합니다.
글로벌 시장에서 영역을 넓혀가고 있는 가상자산 시장이 국내에도 건전하게 발전하여 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보하고 세계 디지털 자산 시장에서 리딩 국가로 발전해 나가기 위해서는 시장과 산업의 투명성을 높이고 전문성을 제고함으로써 소비자 보호 제도를 강화하고, 블록체인 기술이 경제, 사회, 문화 등 각 분야에 유용하게 활용 될 수 있도록 노력해야 합니다.
블록체인 포럼이 이러한 정책의 싱크 탱크(Think Tank) 역할을 하고자 합니다.

About us

Blockchain technology has expanded its applications beyond cryptocurrency (Cryptocurrency) to areas such as public security (Public & Security), industrial applications (Industrial Applications), and transactions & payments (Transaction & Payments). Its scope continues to grow across industries and intellectual property, and it is expected to evolve into a new ecosystem through convergence with emerging technologies such as AI and quantum computing.
Looking ahead, blockchain technology is likely to be applied in a wide range of fields as both a core and convergent technology. Therefore, policies related to research and development, legal and institutional improvements, infrastructure building, and talent cultivation must be promoted in close connection with the blockchain ecosystem.
As the global digital asset market continues to expand, Korea must foster a sound domestic virtual asset market to secure global competitiveness and establish itself as a leading nation in the digital asset industry. This requires strengthening consumer protection systems while enhancing transparency and professionalism in the market and industry. Furthermore, efforts must be made to ensure that blockchain technology can be effectively applied across various sectors, including the economy, society, and culture.
The Blockchain Forum aims to serve as a think tank for these policies, supporting the healthy growth of the blockchain ecosystem and contributing to its integration into diverse fields.
